Editing will provide:

  • Review of wording, sentence structure, and transitions

  • Check for consistency in tone, language, and      character or setting

  • Recommended changes incorporated into the      edited material

  • Editorial notes detailing common errors and issues that were repeated throughout the piece
  • Help to convey your ideas more clearly
  • Allow the text to flow smoothly


Proofreading will provide:

  • Correct spelling mistakes

  • Correct minor grammatical errors

  • Correct punctuation 

  • Identify obvious format/layout problems
